Daimler Trucks has delivered the first batch of its all-electric Rizon brand trucks to customers in California, with more units scheduled for delivery throughout March 2024. The Rizon trucks are class 4 and 5 medium-duty battery-electric vehicles with gross vehicle weights ranging from 15,995 to 17,995 pounds. They are capable of being charged using both DC Fast and Level 2 AC Charging systems. The initial deployment includes a diverse range of customers such as LA Sanitation and Environment, Goodwill Industries, and Ecorecycling, marking a significant step for Daimler Trucks in advancing electrified transportation solutions.
