The Beijing BJ Star Platinum 5X has been spotted in real-world images, positioned as a mid-to-large SUV offering fuel, PHEV and pure EV powertrains. The fuel version features a square front end with a waterfall grille, while PHEV/EV variants use a closed front face. Dimensions are 4,865/2,000/1,910mm with a 2,875mm wheelbase. Interior offers a 15.6-inch dual-screen layout. The pure EV produces 227kW with an 81.9kWh battery delivering 625km CLTC range; PHEVs combine a 1.5L engine with single or dual motors (50.4kWh, 232km WLTP range); fuel version uses a 2.0L turbo engine producing 187kW.

The Bentley Torcal made its global debut in London with a suggested retail price of 1.988 million yuan, now open for pre-order in China. Positioned as an ultra-luxury pure electric SUV on an 800V platform with dual permanent magnet synchronous motors and 113kWh battery. The base model produces 821hp/1,194Nm with 0-100km/h in 3.4s; the S version delivers 888hp/1,350Nm with 0-100km/h in 2.9s and 260km/h top speed. Great Wall has launched two new Menglong PLUS variants: the Hi4 255 Ultra at 189,800 yuan and the Li Hun (Soul) version at 196,800 yuan, with limited-time prices of 177,800 and 184,800 yuan. The Li Hun features an exclusive factory exterior kit with 18-inch AT tires and full blacked-out styling, while the Hi4 255 Ultra reverts to basic L2 ADAS. Dimensions are 4,912/1,950/1,905mm with a 2,850mm wheelbase. Powertrain combines a 1.5L turbo engine with dual motors (330kW/660Nm), 44.7kWh ternary lithium battery delivering 255km CLTC electric range, with 0-100km/h in 5.8 seconds. Off-road features include an electronic rear differential lock, tank turn and creep mode.

Xpeng has revealed L03 specifications and pricing for the Australian market, starting at AUD41,900 (approximately RM121,000). The RWD Standard Range features a 58.3kWh LFP battery with 445km WLTP range, 163kW/280Nm rear motor, supporting 11kW AC and 193kW DC charging. The RWD Long Range has a 71.2kWh battery delivering 520km range with 183kW motor. The AWD Performance Ultra at AUD53,900 features dual motors (285kW/431Nm combined) with 440km range and XNGP autonomous driving. Entry variants include a 15.6-inch screen, 26.8-inch HUD, 50W wireless charging, 256-color ambient lighting and Level 2 ADAS.

The Wey Gao Shan Smart version launched on September 23, with the Gao Shan 8 Smart at 309,800 yuan and Gao Shan 9 Smart at 385,800 yuan. New premium two-tone colors include Liu Guang Mo Green for the 8 and Liu Guang Chen Zi for the 9. The Gao Shan 8 has a 3,145mm wheelbase with 2+2+3 seven-seat layout; the Gao Shan 9 has a 3,275mm wheelbase with six-seat layout and second-row zero-gravity rotating seats supporting 45° welcome, 90° viewing and 180° face-to-face modes. The Gao Shan 8 HEV is expected Q4 2026.

The smart #2 appears in China's latest tax exemption catalog for NEVs. The model is equipped with a 35.8kWh LFP battery pack delivering 410km CLTC range. Global debut is scheduled for the October 12 Paris Motor Show, with official launch in mid-November. An early-bird program is now open with a 298 yuan deposit offering free color options, priority test drives and prizes up to 20,000 yuan. The #2 succeeds the classic fortwo, built on smart's self-developed ECA pure-electric platform with a two-seater layout measuring 2,751 (2,764)/1,669/1,555mm and 1,875mm wheelbase. Power comes from a 60kW rear motor.
