GWM Malaysia has commenced export of the first locally-assembled (CKD) Wey G9 MPVs to Thailand, marking a key milestone in the brand's ASEAN regional strategy. Produced at the EP Manufacturing facility in Pegoh, Malacca since December 2025, the G9 features the Hi4 plug-in hybrid system with a 1.5L turbo engine and dual electric motors producing 442 PS/642 Nm, paired with a 44.2 kWh battery for 170 km NEDC electric range.
