On October 26, WEY officially launched the Gaoshan 8 HEV with two variants – Comfort and Premium editions – priced at 265,800-285,800 yuan, or 259,800-279,800 yuan with limited-time trade-in benefits. Positioned as a mid-to-large MPV, it retains the Gaoshan 8 Wisdom Edition design with a wide mountain-river grille, wraparound sky-line light bar and full-width rear taillights; dimensions 5,280×1,960×1,900mm with 3,145mm wheelbase across seven colors. The cabin offers three color schemes, dual 15.6-inch 2.5K center and passenger screens, a 17.3-inch 3K rear display, Coffee OS 3.5 with Snapdragon 8295P, 23-speaker Dolby Atmos (2,440W) and a 12.5L smart fridge. Three rows of seven seats include Nappa leather with 10-point massage, second-row zero-gravity seats on the Premium trim, and 435-1,901L cargo space. Driver assist uses Coffee Pilot 3 with 27 sensors, 192-line LiDAR and Orin-Y chip (200TOPS) for point-to-point driving. The 2.0L hybrid-specific engine with dual motors outputs 322kW/782Nm, achieving 0-100km/h in 5.9s with 6.92L/100km WLTC consumption, a 3.64kWh battery and standard Hi4 AWD.
