Chery Malaysia announced the Tiggo Cross Sport Edition, based on the Turbo (non-hybrid variant), launching next month. Visual changes include a more aggressive front lip with side winglets, rear diffuser with faux tailpipe cut-outs and a "Sport" tailgate badge. Roof rails, spoiler and 18-inch alloys are carried over. Current Turbo is priced at RM89,000 and Hybrid at RM100,000, with limited-time deals potentially lowering the starting price to RM81,000. Both variants use a 1.5L four-cylinder engine but with significantly different drivetrains.

The 2027 Zongheng G700 officially launched on September 29 with 5 variants priced at 329,900-442,900 yuan (limited rights price 304,900-422,900 yuan). As a mid-cycle refresh, the exterior shifts from rugged off-road to urban tech style with body-color bumpers and chrome accents. Equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 system and 896-line LiDAR supporting NOA and full-scenario parking. Dimensions are 5,198/2,050/1,956mm with 2,870mm wheelbase, available in 5- and 6-seat configurations. Interior features a 15.6-inch central screen and 35.4-inch panoramic display. The Kunpeng range-extended hybrid system pairs a 2.0L engine (155kW) with 560kW/795Nm total output, delivering 210km WLTC pure EV range. Features include CDC variable damping suspension, front/rear differential locks, in-place turning and water crossing capability.

Porsche has launched the new generation PCCM Plus infotainment system for the 911, Cayman and Boxster from model years 2009-2016 (987.2, 997.2, 981 and 991.1), covering over 300,000 future classics. The 7-inch HD touchscreen can also be operated via the multifunction steering wheel. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, displaying navigation and music info on both the central screen and instrument cluster. The Tiggo Cross was launched in Malaysia last July with 1.5 Turbo (RM88,800) and 1.5 Hybrid CSH (RM99,800). It is slightly larger than the Perodua Ativa but smaller than the Chery O5, making it Chery's entry-level SUV. Whether the Sport Edition will offer both petrol and hybrid variants remains to be confirmed at launch.
