The Bentley Torcal made its global debut in London with a suggested retail price of 1.988 million yuan, now open for pre-order in China. Positioned as an ultra-luxury pure electric SUV on an 800V platform with dual permanent magnet synchronous motors and 113kWh battery. The Changan Qiyuan Q06 has launched with 6 variants priced at 139,900-169,900 yuan (special price: 135,900-165,900 yuan). Dimensions are 4,837/1,970/1,670mm with a 2,940mm wheelbase and 91.7% cabin space efficiency. Interior features a 15.6-inch 2.5K screen, 256-color ambient lighting and NAPA materials. ADAS offers optional Tiancong Navigator Ultra (560 TOPS, 256-line lidar). According to new research by SMMT, UK drivers have more electric car choice than ever, with manufacturers launching the equivalent of one fully electric model every fortnight for the past three years. Eighty-five new BEV models have reached the UK market since 2023, doubling the number available to 171. Alongside 109 PHEVs and 52 HEVs, 76% of the UK's market can now drive without tailpipe emissions. UK buyers can choose from 385 models across every powertrain from more than 60 global brands. Full EVs now typically travel over 300 miles on a single charge, well above the 127 miles driven weekly by the average UK driver. New car CO2 emissions have been cut by more than half a million tonnes a year.

Jetour has opened pre-sales for the Traveler 7 with 7 variants priced at 149,900-179,900 yuan, including fuel (1.5TD/2.0TD) and C-DM plug-in hybrid versions. The Wey Gao Shan Smart version launched on September 23, with the Gao Shan 8 Smart at 309,800 yuan and Gao Shan 9 Smart at 385,800 yuan. New premium two-tone colors include Liu Guang Mo Green for the 8 and Liu Guang Chen Zi for the 9. The Gao Shan 8 has a 3,145mm wheelbase with 2+2+3 seven-seat layout; the Gao Shan 9 has a 3,275mm wheelbase with six-seat layout and second-row zero-gravity rotating seats supporting 45° welcome, 90° viewing and 180° face-to-face modes. The Gao Shan 8 PHEV uses a 1.5L hybrid (357kW/644Nm) with 270km EV/1,199km total range; the Gao Shan 9 PHEV uses a 2.0L hybrid (405kW/782Nm) with 265km EV/1,166km total range. The Gao Shan 8 HEV is expected Q4 2026.
