BYD's personalised brand Fangchengbao has revealed the Titanium 3 Flash Charging Edition and Titanium 7 EV Flash Charging Edition, set for debut at the March 5 technology conference. Both models will incorporate BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and megawatt flash charging technology. The Titanium 3 is expected to deliver 600km+ range with enhanced battery capacity, while the Titanium 7 EV may feature an oversized powered frunk for improved practicality. Both variants will share the brand's latest intelligent ecosystem, expanding Fangchengbao's product portfolio.

Proton's Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA) platform will underpin three new models—codenamed AMA 02, 05 and 06—including two SUVs and one MPV with wheelbase/track extendable up to 290mm. Renderings by Theophilus Chin preview an 'Ersaga' MPV concept combining Saga MC3 front fascia with Suzuki Ertiga proportions. The production MPV will feature i-GT family's DHE naturally-aspirated hybrid powertrain with DHT120 transmission, positioned below eMas 7 PHEV. ZEEKR has officially entered Petaling Jaya, Malaysia through authorised dealer Carro Retail, inaugurating the ZEEKR Space Mutiara Damansara showroom at Menara Mudajaya. The sixth-generation Nissan Serena has launched in Malaysia with exclusive e-Power range-extender technology, replacing the previous S-Hybrid system. Locally assembled (CKD) in five variants priced RM154,800-RM179,800, the MPV features a 1.4L three-cylinder generator paired with a 163 PS/315 Nm electric motor, achieving 18.5 km/L NEDC fuel consumption. BYD's flagship electric coupe Seal 08 will debut on March 5, positioned in the RMB 300,000-350,000 segment. The model inherits Ocean-S concept design with closed grille, wave-pattern LED headlights and fastback silhouette, measuring over 5 metres in length with 3-metre-plus wheelbase. Built on 800V architecture with second-generation Blade Battery technology, it targets 1,000km+ CLTC range and megawatt flash charging capability enabling 400km range in 5 minutes. The AWD variant is expected to deliver 480kW+ output with sub-5-second 0-100km/h acceleration, complemented by Yunian intelligent damping control system.

Tesla has opened its Supercharger network to non-Tesla electric vehicles in Malaysia, with an initial rollout of four locations across the Klang Valley. Non-Tesla owners can access the 250 kW CCS2 charging infrastructure through the Tesla app at RM1.80 per kWh, with congestion fees up to RM2.00 per minute during peak periods. This move fulfills Tesla's AP exemption commitment under the BEV Global Leaders program, which mandates installation of at least 50 DC fast chargers exceeding 180 kW, with 30% accessible to the public and multi-brand EV compatibility.
