The latest MIIT filing reveals that the UNYX 07 will receive a LiDAR-equipped version. The new variant maintains the current model's design, with body height increased by 4mm to 1,570 mm; dimensions are 4,853 × 1,852 × 1,570 mm with a 2,826 mm wheelbase, riding on 235/45 R20 tyres. Power continues from a single motor rated at 170 kW paired with an LFP battery. For reference, the current UNYX 07 uses a pure vision intelligent driving solution priced at 129,900-139,900 yuan. The LiDAR version will upgrade to a LiDAR + Horizon Robotics Journey 6H chip combination, enabling City NOA navigation assist, with delivery expected by end of 2026.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupé joins the GT 4-Door Coupé lineup as a new entry variant, featuring a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration (compared to the tri-motor setup in the GT63 and GT55). On August 10, the Roewe Jiayue 07 was unveiled, positioned as a large five-seat mid-to-large SUV targeting the 150,000-200,000 yuan segment. The iCAR V25 will make its official debut on August 14 at the V Chinese Version Blue Escape Music Party in Chengdu. The compact SUV features a boxy design language with distinctive round headlights, measuring 4,636/1,920/1,855 mm with a 2,820 mm wheelbase. It is powered by a 1.5L range-extender system delivering up to 150 km of pure electric range. The rear door uses a side-opening design with an external spare tire mount for enhanced storage capability. With its unique boxy styling and extended-range powertrain, the V25 targets young users seeking personalized transportation solutions.

The 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross debuted at GIIAS 2026, positioned as B-segment seven-seater MPVs. The Xpander offers three variants priced from 274.5 million to 348 million rupiah (approximately RM63,191 to RM80,111), while the Xpander Cross comes in two variants from 348 million to 374 million rupiah (approximately RM80,111 to RM86,102). Nearly a year after its launch in Indonesia, BYD's Atto 1 (known as Seagull elsewhere) has added a new Standard entry-level variant priced at Rp 199 million (approximately RM46,000). All variants come standard with a 30.08 kWh Blade LFP battery delivering around 250 km WLTP range and 30 kW DC fast charging, while the Premium specification upgrades to a 38.88 kWh unit with approximately 320 km WLTP range and 40 kW charging capability.
