Forthing, a Dongfeng Motor Group sub-brand founded in 2001, will enter Malaysia in December via distributor Wide Premium. The GATE expo showcased the Forthing Friday REEV SUV with a 1.5L range extender, 163PS electric motor and 31.9kWh battery, plus a pure EV variant (204PS, 64.4kWh). The U-Tour V9 PHEV seven-seater MPV features a 1.5T turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor. The Friday is priced around RM130,000.

Porsche has opened its tenth Charging Lounge in Himmelkron, Upper Franconia, expanding its European fast-charging network to 10 locations. The new site along the A9 motorway features six 400 kW charging points and a modern lounge area.
