On September 29, the Buick Allnew LaCrosse celebrated its 1.5 millionth unit rolling off the line, with official images of the new model released, launching on October 10. The new car continues the family design language with sleek headlights and large trapezoidal front grille. Dimensions are 5,003/1,866/1,466mm with a 2,905mm wheelbase, featuring 19-inch new-style wheels and Ink Bamboo Green exterior color. Interior offers an enveloping cockpit design with a new floating central screen and full LCD instrument cluster, single-side wireless charging, 121-color ambient lighting, and heated/ventilated/massaging front and rear seats with a new interior color option.

Chery Malaysia announced the Tiggo Cross Sport Edition, based on the Turbo (non-hybrid variant), launching next month. Visual changes include a more aggressive front lip with side winglets, rear diffuser with faux tailpipe cut-outs and a "Sport" tailgate badge. Roof rails, spoiler and 18-inch alloys are carried over. Renault has unveiled the 8 Gordini Concept, a 270HP rear-wheel-drive battery-electric homage to the 1964 original. The design draws from the café racer aesthetic—stripping non-essential features to maximize raw beauty of materials. Circular triple headlights reference the original rally car, while the shell-shaped mirrors and full-width grille at the windscreen base pay homage to the 1964 model. Interior features a brushed aluminum center strip, with blue corduroy center seats contrasting black bucket seats. A one-off design exercise with no production plans, the designer noted the original was a "working class hero" and the concept keeps that honest, approachable character.

The new Luxeed R7 officially launched on September 28 with 4 variants priced at 239,800-319,800 yuan. As a mid-cycle refresh of a mid-to-large SUV, it offers extended-range and pure EV powertrains with interior and exterior upgrades. Exterior changes include star-track integrated headlights, hollow Zhijie badge, and new Titanium Silver and Rose Pink colors. Interior features a flowing ring-embracing cabin with 17.2-inch dual screens, zero-gravity seats and 21-speaker audio. Equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 system and 896-line dual-optical-path LiDAR. Pure EV RWD motor upgraded to 227kW with 855km range.

The Zhijie RX officially launched on September 28 with 6 variants priced at 259,800-389,800 yuan. The first SUV named with "X" under Harmony Mobility, equipped with four LiDAR matrix and L3 autonomous driving redundant architecture. Features a floating suspended body design with "L"-shaped star-eye headlights (90 LED star-diamond elements). Dimensions are 5,020/2,007/1,585mm with a 3,000mm wheelbase. Interior adopts a "floating wing" design with smart dynamic sports seats (98 sensors + 27 air bags). Powertrain offers single-motor RWD (277kW) and dual-motor AWD (160kW+277kW) with 81kWh and 100kWh batteries delivering 672-852km CLTC range. Equipped with aluminum front double wishbone and rear five-link suspension, high-end dual-chamber air suspension with dual-valve continuously variable damping, 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds.

Q1: Shangjie H8 (300K level) and Zhijie V9 pure EV four-seater (500K level); Q2: Shangjie H9 (400K level), Zhijie R8 (400K level mid-size SUV) and Zhijie S7 refresh; Q3: Shangjie Z7/Z7T refresh, Zhijie R9 (500K level large SUV), Xiangjie 7 Series SUV (300-400K+ level) and Maextro SUV collector's edition; Q4: Shangjie H5 refresh and Maextro S800 major refresh.
