Spy shots reveal BYD's first MPV for the Ocean Network, caught charging at a BYD ultra-fast charger. The front light signature clearly shows Ocean Network design language, though the overall profile differs significantly from the Ocean-V concept shown at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, leaning toward a more traditional MPV style. Equipment includes a large grille, conventional door handles and a roof-mounted LiDAR. The Ocean-V concept was a five-seat MPV featuring a sliding center screen, 180-degree rotating seats, auto-retracting steering wheel, front-row screen extension, hidden tables and one-key bed mode – whether these carry over to the production model remains to be seen. Expected launch by year-end.

Spy shots reveal the Tank 700 long wheelbase version with largely unchanged styling but increased dimensions. Wheelbase grows 150mm to 3,150mm. The 2.0T variant wears a full black "Dark Warrior" exterior while the 3.0T gets bronze accents on wheels, front air intakes, roof trim and badging. The Leapmotor A10s will launch on October 18 as the top variant featuring exclusive exterior and interior styling with enhanced equipment. Reference price for current A10 is 65,800-86,800 yuan. Following the "launch" of Proton's new AMA02 A-segment SUV (rumoured Saga Cross or X30) camouflage mules last week, many attempted to unwrap the car using AI. However, professional car designer Theophilus Chin created a render that far exceeds typical AI unmasking, carefully studying design lines and referencing the brand's existing cues. His render shows a front end reminiscent of the pre-facelift Honda HR-V in headlight and grille shape, plus Perodua's signature hexagonal grille and 'X' face. The profile features a prominent shoulder line above the front and rear wheels, with a black element on the rearmost pillars creating a floating roof effect conducive to two-tone color schemes. The rear has a full-width LED strip above the Proton script, with the number plate recess following the X50 facelift's lead. The render's stance is notably better than the ungainly mules seen so far.

The 2027 BAIC Arcfox αT5 official images are released with details improvements to exterior, interior and powertrain. The exterior retains current styling with a new roof-mounted LiDAR for enhanced ADAS, plus a frunk and redesigned wheels with hidden handles. Interior gets a new three-spoke steering wheel, tidier center console with floating center screen and HUD, upgraded suede door panels, and front seat heating, ventilation and massage. The pure EV variant gets a new rear motor producing 227kW with 680km range. Reference price for current model is 113,800-158,800 yuan, and it will launch alongside the 2027 αS5.
