The BYD Seal Lion 07 DM-i Intelligent Driving Edition has started arriving in stores, with an expected price starting at 250,000 yuan. It features the new “Ocean Aesthetics” design, with dimensions of 4880/1920/1750mm and a wheelbase of 2820mm. The interior is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch floating Pad, and a wide-temperature-range refrigerator. Both front and rear seats support ventilation and heating, with massage functions on the front seats. In terms of intelligent driving, the model is equipped with the “Divine Eye” high-level intelligent driving assistance system, capable of urban and expressway navigation. It also features the fifth-generation DM technology, with the four-wheel-drive version having a 0-100km/h acceleration time of around 4.7 seconds. The new model is expected to be officially launched soon.

On April 9, BYD Tang L was officially launched, offering six variants priced between 229,800 and 289,800 yuan. Built on BYD's Super e-Platform, the vehicle supports a 1000V high-voltage platform and 1000W ultra-fast charging, capable of charging 400km in 5 minutes. Positioned as a mid-large SUV, the plug-in hybrid version features the fifth-generation DM technology, DiDyna intelligent chassis, and advanced driving assistance systems. The launch also includes various purchase incentives, such as 0% down payment, 0% interest, and trade-in subsidies.
BYD's Denza Launches in Europe to Challenge BMW and Mercedes
BYD's premium brand Denza has officially launched in Europe, aiming to compete with high-end German manufacturers like BMW and Mercedes. Denza, once a joint venture with Mercedes-Benz, is now fully owned by BYD. The brand plans to start sales in Europe with the Z9 GT electric version by the end of this year, a five-door electric shooting brake with 963 horsepower and a range of 630 km. Denza also plans to introduce the D9 MPV and two 4x4 models. The brand aims to become a full-liner premium brand, with its first model priced higher than the most expensive BYD currently available in Europe.

BYD Posts 377,420 New Energy Vehicle Sales in March 2025, Surpassing 11.6 Million Units in Total
In March 2025, BYD sold 377,420 new energy vehicles, up 24.8% year-on-year. Passenger vehicle sales reached 371,419 units, up 23.1% year-on-year. The cumulative passenger vehicle sales for 2025 reached 986,098 units, with the total new energy vehicle sales exceeding 11.6 million units. By brand, the Dynasty and Ocean series sold 350,615 units, up 22.3% year-on-year; the Foton brand sold 8,051 units, up 126.8% year-on-year; the Tengshi brand sold 12,620 units, up 22.8% year-on-year; and the Wey brand sold 133 units. Overseas, BYD exported 72,723 new energy vehicles in March.

JETOUR Traveler and Mountain Sea T2 Extended Versions Launch on April 18 with 7-Seater Layout
On April 18, the JETOUR Traveler and Mountain Sea T2 extended versions will be launched. Both models are 249mm longer, reaching 5034mm. They feature rugged styling with smoother rear designs. The interior includes a Qualcomm 8155 chip and supports HUAWEI HiCar and CarPlay. The 2+3+2 seating layout has added third-row air vents. The maximum trunk volume is 1653L, suitable for "moving-style off-road" trips. The Traveler is powered by a 2.0T engine with 254 horsepower and an 8AT transmission. The Mountain Sea T2 has a hybrid system with 120km and 206km pure electric ranges.
