The fourth-generation compact executive SUV, BMW X3 G45, has been launched at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show and confirmed for the Malaysian market. It is available with either a diesel engine or an M Performance petrol variant. The X3 20d xDrive starts at 3,799,000 baht (around RM495,400), while the X3 M50 xDrive is priced at 4,499,000 baht (around RM586,700), both locally assembled in Rayong. The G45 measures 4,755 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,660 mm tall, with a 2,865 mm wheelbase. It features the latest BMW front face and a curved widescreen display panel with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen. Powering the X3 are mild hybrid engines: the 20d has a 2.0 litre turbodiesel producing 197 PS, while the M50 boasts a 3.0 litre turbo straight-six with 381 PS.

Leapmotor Announces Product Plan for 2025-2026
Leapmotor Chairman Zhu Jiangming revealed the company's future product plans at the C16 user sharing session. In the second quarter of 2026, Leapmotor will launch a flagship MPV based on the D platform, positioned as a luxury model with an estimated price of around 200,000-300,000 yuan, alongside a full-size SUV. As of April 1, NIO Power has achieved over 70 million battery swap services. Compared to traditional charging, NIO's swap services have saved users approximately 58.2 million hours of waiting time and 18.3 billion yuan in refueling costs. NIO Power has built 3,239 swap stations nationwide, forming a high-speed swap network across 14 major city clusters. The company plans to achieve nationwide coverage of charging stations in every county by 2025. Additionally, NIO Power has signed a cooperation agreement with Hunan Oriental Digital Energy Investment Co., Ltd. to build 100 integrated energy stations with photovoltaic storage, charging, and swapping capabilities in Hunan.
Skoda Elroq vRS Teaser Released, to Premiere at Milan Design Week on April 3
Skoda has released the teaser images of the Elroq vRS, which will make its debut at the Milan Design Week on April 3. As the performance version of the Elroq, the Elroq vRS is built on the Volkswagen MEB platform, with a maximum power output of 327 horsepower and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of less than 6 seconds. The vehicle retains the sporty design elements of the Elroq, featuring a Penetrating dot matrix daytime running light. It is expected to have exclusive designs on the front and rear bumpers and badges. The Elroq vRS has a WLTP range of up to 560km.

Craftsman SC01 Electric Sports Car to Launch on April 15
The SC01 electric sports car by Craftsman is set to launch on April 15, with an expected price tag of less than 300,000 yuan. Manufactured by Jiangxi Jiangling Group New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., the car will be branded as Yi Chi 01. It features a two-door, two-seat design with dual-motor powertrain, delivering a maximum power of 431 horsepower and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of just 3.9 seconds. The vehicle has a CLTC range of 500km, weighs approximately 1,300kg, and is equipped with a tubular space frame and push-rod suspension for enhanced handling.

The Zeekr 009 Radiant Black Gold Edition is set to debut at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show. AITO Ask 8's interior has been officially revealed, with a pre-sale price range of 368,000 to 458,000 yuan. The interior offers four color options: White Sand Apricot, Red Tea Orange, Amber Brown, and Nebula Red, with the latter two requiring an additional 8,000 yuan.
