FAW Bestune’s compact SUV, the Yueyi 03, is set to launch on March 27. The pre-sale price ranges from 97,900 to 127,900 yuan, with an early bird price of 95,900 to 125,900 yuan. The vehicle features a closed grille, split headlights, and slim taillights, with dimensions of 4,450/1,860/1,635mm and a wheelbase of 2,750mm. The interior includes a dual-spoke steering wheel, large infotainment screen, and a full digital dashboard, with a console-mounted gear selector. Powered by Huawei’s electric motor (122 kW), it offers a CLTC range of 565 km and outstanding low-temperature fast-charging capabilities.

On March 22, 2025, the new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ was unveiled. Shell Malaysia has launched the nation’s first East-West Coast High-Performance Charging (HPC) network, featuring three stations along the East Coast Expressway (ECE) in Terengganu and Pahang. Each station is equipped with twin 180kW DC chargers, capable of charging a Porsche Taycan from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes and a Porsche Macan EV in 21 minutes. The charging rate is RM2.20 per kWh, with a booking fee of RM5 (waived if the bay is claimed within 10 minutes) and an idle fee of RM8 per 15 minutes. In conjunction with Raya, Shell Recharge is offering a 100% rebate for Platinum members (Porsche EV owners) and a 50% rebate for Gold members and pay-per-use customers from March 24 to April 4. This network expansion further consolidates Shell’s technical partnership with Porsche, providing more accessible charging options for EV owners.

The Social Market Foundation (SMF) has identified insufficient charging infrastructure as a major barrier to addressing transport poverty, which constrains mobility and harms the economy due to inadequate or unaffordable transport.
